Delete your Trekly account

You can delete your account and all your data at any time, right in the app. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

Delete in the app

1. Open Trekly and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Optional: tap Download my data first to save a copy of your trips and itineraries.
4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you're signed out.

Can't open the app?

Email privacy@trekly.travel from the email address linked to your Trekly account, with the subject "Delete my Trekly account". If you signed in with Apple using a hidden email, tell us that in your message so we can find your account. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we'll delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your profile: name, nationalities, country of residence, interests, bio and profile photo
• All your trips, including notes, ratings and cover photos
• All your planned trips and itineraries
• Trekly data stored on your phone, such as cached trips and photo-scan settings

What may remain

• Anonymous city statistics. Your past ratings may remain part of each city's average ratings and trip counts until the statistics are next recalculated. They can't be linked back to you.
• Backups and logs. Copies may stay in our service providers' backups and logs for a limited time before they're overwritten.
• AI requests. Information previously sent to our AI provider to create itineraries is handled under that provider's own retention terms.
• Exports you saved. Any data file you downloaded stays wherever you saved it.

If you signed in with Apple, you can also stop using your Apple ID with Trekly in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
